ZoomRank is a sophisticated Web-based tool that allows users to monitor their online presence automatically in both organic rankings and local metrics.
A significant challenge in nurturing an online presence is reacting to changes in a timely manner. In the past, changes could go unnoticed for a substantial length of time. Enter solutions like ZoomRank, which give you the power to monitor changes automatically and in real time. Automation is an important conceit in SEO analytics and means that the system will push notifications to the user.
ZoomRank is an entirely virtualized solution. There is never any software to download, and any configuration changes are available to the user regardless of where they log in from. Users can receive notifications to their smartphone or similar device, and they have access to the system from anywhere where there is Internet connectivity, which is particularly powerful for small firms.
ZoomRank allows the user granular control of the keywords and phrases that the system monitors based on. The system provides automatic daily rankings with an emphasis on Google, Bing and Yahoo. It also provides reliable, accurate rankings for Google Organic, local SERP, local metrics and so forth. The system also features a powerful and highly configurable analytics dashboard.
ZoomRank also provides you with an integrated view of the data, which is an illuminating way to visualize the synergy between seemingly disparate components of SEO. There is, for instance, an emerging correlation between Google Places rank and organic/SERP, and the ZoomRank system can visually demonstrate how the Google Places position is affecting those other aspects.
The overall benefit ZoomRank has for a particular Web presence is tied directly to the keywords keyed on. ZoomRank does not integrate a mechanism for determining what those items are. It would be nice to import keywords from other tool. Otherwise nothing really bad about the tool.
Review and Rating
ZoomRank is a powerful and versatile SEO analytics and monitoring tool. It is not, however, hands-off, and it does require a certain level of expertise to get the most out of. For the novice webmaster getting their feet wet in the SEO pool, ZoomRank will likely fall short unless paired with another tool or service that can identify the terms that the website should key on. For intermediate and advanced users, ZoomRank is a powerful and perhaps even necessary tool that stands apart in a crowded segment due to its direct, no-nonsense approach and the granular level of control it provides: 4 out 5 stars.
Raven launched today a deep integration with Google Webmastertools. Contragts
The data is a bit different to existing ranking trackers such as Authoritylabs.:
- Average position
- Top searches
After the back and forth between Google and a few SEO software vendors it doesn’t really come to a surprise to me, that they started talking to each other and building a solid solution. A SEO tool without analytics would have not made it far. Congrats Raven!
A few days after Raven, now Ahrefs also pulls the plug and removes Keyword analysis. What’s really great about Ahrefs is also the fact, that they allow full export of the data until January. I am sure Google consultet with their lawyers before moving along with this.
As said in the post before: I think this is pretty harsh to squeeze software vendors to give up a piece of features, that is still wanted in the SEO world. Now people will need to jump to different vendors and merge data afterwards or work with vendors, which just don’t allign with Google’s new policy.
That all being said…the business of selling an enterprise SEO software company to an Adobe or any other big software shop seems to be much these days.
If you are still looking for affordable Ahrefs alternatives visit the guys from Authoritylabs.
So we are not 100% sure what SERPmetrics is exactly about, but while we wait here for the Blueglass LA show to start, we stumbled on their site.
So far we only know that SERPMetrics allows large scale ranking tracking with a full-blown API. Apparently the tool is already in beta with 1 billion URLs tracked.
If these numbers are reality we definitely will have a larger player entering the market of SERP tracking. So far, the only company that does large scale SERP tracking for clients is Authoritylabs, so sounds exciting to see a new player entering the market.
RankRanger is one of those recently released online software programs that automates the process of finding real time data related to the sites of your competitors. Many owners of websites as well as those working in SEO make use of this software to check on their own performance as well as that of their competitors. This survey can be done over more than 300 search engines. What RankRanger does is track down the rankings of sites on different search engines, analyzes their use of keywords as well as their ranking. It also looks through inlinks, backlinks and more. RankRanger has just come out of the BETA phase of its development, however the stupendous amount of data that it has collected for those who have used it has significantly helped them improve their processes.
The plus points of RankRanger
There are quite a few advantages to RankRanger and the first one is that of the enormous amounts of data you can collect. As it searches through over 30 search engines, you will be able to analyze your own as well as your competitor’s rankings, the page rankings of their site, as well as the positioning of their backlinks, inlinks, etc. All of this will help you make your SEO efforts all the more effective. Additionally, this software will be able to pull together all the data you need from similar tools such as Google Analytics and bring it all in one place. It will even show you whether your ranking on a search engine is organic and how your pay per click ads are faring.
The software comes with an extremely friendly user interface. This means that it can take you little under a minute to set up. It is rather self-explanatory. You can easily navigate through the entire software with the help of the tabs as well as the columns and graphs that point out the way. Since the process is largely automated, you will have no issues in generating the info you need. You will also be able to get customized alerts in real-time and monthly reports in the form of PDFs.
With RankRanger, you will be able to organize results based on the campaigns that you are working on. You can have as many campaigns as you want in a single user account. There is the added advantage of having the ability to group all your campaigns in folders and use them how you need. You will also be able to organize the data the way you want, as there is no pre-determined setup.
Another advantage of RankRanger is that it is completely white label. Which means every SEO company that makes use of it will be able to put their own logo on the findings. This way you will not need to let out your trade secrets on how you got your own information and data.
The kind of results you get with RankRanger is quite versatile and there is a great deal of emphasis placed on keyword rankings. Since there are a number of ways in which ranking can be measured, the near perfect results that you get each time will help you monitor yours as well as other rankings and work towards improvement.
There are a few who feel that the RankRanger focuses entirely on the tracking of Keywords, PPC campaigns as well as all those elements that go into the basic structuring of a site. If a website owner is deep into analyzing data, then he will also want to look into other social media such as tweets or even YouTube stats and Facebook. While these features are available with some other sites, it is not with RankRanger.
Review and rating
RankRanger is the perfect tool for those who are just starting out in the world of SEO. The reports are easy to generate and equally easy to organize and track. What’s more is that you can label it with your own logo.
Serpfox is designed to be a simple SEO ranking tool that lets you track your rankings in both Google and Bing. Serpfox provides tracking over as many domains and keywords as you would like, with a varied monthly pricing structure designed to accommodate different levels of tracking data. Serpfox updates its tracking data once every four hours and allows you to track your ranking data over different time intervals with simple graphs. You also have the option of grouping your data into different sections depending on the client or subsection you are working on. Serpfox also gives you the option of receiving email notification every time your websites have a significant change in rating.
Serpfox currently has a simple no frills interface that makes entering new keywords and websites as easy as it could possibly be. While Serpfox is still a relatively new program, the simple focus on tracking rankings well without unwanted clutter is refreshingly simple when compared to other rank trackers in the industry. An uncluttered interface also makes sure that the resulting program runs quickly and without problems in almost every situation. Serpfox can track results up to 500 ranks deep within both Google and Bing, making it one of the best options out there for tracking keywords that are still struggling with lower rankings. The notification system also helps Serpfox stand out when compared to other SEO search tracking programs. The multiple pricing levels includes a free option for tracking up to 10 keywords, which can be a great choice for anyone looking to try Serpfox and get an idea of how well it works.
One of the biggest downsides to using Serpfox right now is simply how new this program still is. Unlike many of the older rank checking options that are available, there really aren’t many options or features adding value to the core of of what Serpfox does. Most users have reported accurate results and few problems with Serpfox’s rank tracking, but the current small number of users means there is still a chance that tracking issues could go unnoticed.
Review & Rating:
Serpfox stands out as an up and coming search engine tracking tool that can really help SEO experts streamline the tracking process without getting distracted by unnecessary features and poor quality results. With a simple and fast interface that makes entering new keywords straightforward and a notification system that makes using Serpfox relatively hassle free, Serpfox stands to improve the overall experience of getting search engine rank checked for multiple SEO projects. Consider trying Serpfox free for a small project to see how well current ratings stack up against competing programs for the best results, since the program is so new. Right now, Serpfox offers a welcome alternative to the currently popular SEO rank checking programs that offer spotty results and a clunky interface.
We’ve jut posted a SEscout review here, but forgot to include the SEscout Rank tracker demo. Check it out in order to get a better picture about the tool:
SEscout is a website rank searching tool that allows you to post your website and keyword, and it will track how well your website and how well the keyword is doing in the search engines. However, with a minimum price of about $15 a month (unless you are using the free version), you shouldn’t waste your money before reading this review.
One refreshing aspect about SEscout is that it actually tracks the search engines, not just Google. You will also get search volume and keyword information about Bing as well, and you will also get Alexa information alongside your website.
Unlike similar tools, like Market Samurai, SEscout has a very user-friendly interface where you can just type in a keyword and your URL and you will instantly get results. It is very easy to use and even if you are new to search engine optimization, you will be able to easily read the metrics without any problems.
While the best features are left to paying customers, you can get a free membership that lets you try out the software before actually buying it. The free account only lets you list 10 keywords and domains, while the Elite package allows you to check 1,500 keywords and domains, but at the cost of $99.97 a month.
Instead of just listing all your domains and keywords in one large mess, you can organize your domains by group. So if you organize your domains by niche (like many Internet marketers do) this will make it much easier to check similar websites.
If you run an SEO consultancy firm, or if you look printing out records for yourself, SEscout has a report features that will show you how your domain has done in the past month or week, and it will offer you many metrics to go through when searching your SERPs.
While the good list is expansive, the bad list is small but very poignant. Many people who have used SEscout report that the search values are not a solid line (Google probably returns sometimes results and an hour later not). Due to this, many serious Internet marketers find it difficult to use the data internally and sell it to their higher ups.
This lack of correct data makes SEscout hard to rely on, and while you may like the good features, they may not be enough to make up for poor data.
Rating and Review
SEscout has a full battery of impressive tools and features, and compared to many other SERPs programs, is very affordable. Not only that, but the interface looks great, and you can make a lot of reports and do a lot of things that other programs just can’t do. Like it’s competitors the hourly tracking feature is interesting, but maybe not for everyone. Overall we recommend to buy the product.
